Helping Hands Back To School Drive Raises More Than $30,000 For Trigg Students

The community and several area organizations partnered with Helping Hands of Trigg County to raise more than $30,000 during the annual Back to School drive Thursday at Hancock’s Neighborhood Market.

Helping Hands Chairman K.G. Ariagno told Your News Edge more than 157 children are on the list to go back to school shopping with Helping Hands volunteers.

click to download audioThe icing on the cake came when Cadiz Rotary Club member Kara Allen presented Helping Hands with a $15,000 donation to push the total to more than $32,000.
