A Christian County man was charged with assaulting a woman on East 23rd Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 20-year-old Letrevion Washington struck a woman in the face, then put her in a chokehold before someone intervened.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
