Wednesday, August 21st marks the 69th anniversary of “Little Green Men” invading the Kelly area of northern Christian County.
To celebrate the special day, an alien invasion will take place at the Hopkinsville Visitors Center on East Ninth Street.
Visit Hopkinsville Executive Director Amy Rogers says the event is such an integral part of history in the region.
Rogers adds there will be fun for the entire family that afternoon.
To cap off the evening, she says they will show a popular movie that was partly inspired by the Kelly incident.
