Holt, Plaisme Trial Still On Track For August

Two Clarksville men charged with offenses related to the May 2022 murder of Oak Grove teen Gailon Toler remain on track for a trial set to begin August 12 in Hopkinsville.

During Wednesday’s Christian County Circuit Court, Judge Andrew Self confirmed a July 22 mediation conducted by retired Warren County Judge Steve Wilson for defendants Tyron Holt and Omega Plaisme didn’t bring any resolution before jury selection.

However, perhaps it did bring more understanding between the Commonwealth and defense.

Plaisme is charged with the murder, while Holt is charged with complicity to that murder, which Oak Grove Police said involved Toler being shot multiple times outside of his Tyler Street mobile home.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy confirmed that a medical examiner will take the stand that Tuesday morning, August 13, and Self understood.

Self also noted that a resolution could still occur before the trail gets underway.
