Two women and one man were charged with drug possession after they were found sleeping in a vehicle on Main Street in Cadiz Saturday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 26-year-old Sarah Dunn of Gracey was found sleeping in the driver seat and gave law enforcement consent to search the vehicle.
As they were searching the vehicle, the passengers 28-year-old Joseph Knight and 20-year-old Destiny Hanshew both of Cadiz got out of the vehicle and Knight reportedly tossed a bag of suspected meth under the vehicle.
Deputies say after talking with everyone it was found they had done drugs and been drinking alcohol.
They were all arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. Knight and Hanshew were also charged with public intoxication and Dunn was charged with DUI.
