A Hopkinsville woman was charged with assaulting her boyfriend on Braden Street Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for an altercation and found that a man had come home early from work and found his girlfriend 32-year-old Shanterica Battle with another man.
When law enforcement arrived Battle was reportedly seen dropping a large knife and her boyfriend was found to have several injuries to his body that were bleeding.
Battle was arrested and charged with second-degree assault – domestic violence.
