Tax Rate Reduction Possible For Christian County Property Owners

Some Christian County property owners could see a reduction in their 2024 property tax rates if Christian County magistrates follow recommendations from County Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam.

Christian County Fiscal Court typically sets tax rates for the current fiscal year in late July or early August. Judge Executive Jerry Gilliam says rates could go down this year on most properties because of growth in the county tax rolls.
