Stolen Vehicle Investigation Leads To Drug Charges

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with drug possession during an investigation into a stolen vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard Monday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they located a vehicle that had been stolen and during the investigation, the passenger 34-year-old Amanda Briones was found to have meth, marijuana, and a meth pipe in her possession.

The owner of the vehicle decided not to file charges after the vehicle was located. Briones was arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possession of marijuana.
