After helping to lead their team to an 18-3 record in 2023, they could be among the best 1-2 combinations in Kentucky high school girls’ soccer this fall. Junior Audrey Perry and sopohmore Kendall Hancock are part of the equation that adds up to the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers contending for a regional championship in 2024.

The two combined to score 66 goals last season. Hancock led the team in scoring with 43, while Perry was third, finding the net 23 times on the season.

Perry was the team’s leader in assists with 30. Hancock was second for the Lady Blazers with 15 assists.

The duo led a high-powered offense for UHA last season. The Lady Blazers averaged 6 goals per match and hit double digits six times on the season.

While the Lady Blazers return talent all across the field from last season’s 18-win team, Hancock and Perry, heading into the season, figure to be the locomotive at the front of a high-speed train in 2024.

Both Hancock and Perry played in all 22 contests for the Lady Blazers in 2023.
