A two-vehicle crash Saturday morning near Crofton sent one person to a Nashville hospital.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Hoffman said a van driven by 64-year-old Shelia Bussell of Crofton turned into the path of a motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Michael Roberts of Calhoun with the impact crushing his leg between the bike and the van.

The report said Bussell told the deputy there was glare from the sun facing her but she felt she could make the turn in time.

Roberts was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of injuries while Bussell did not report any injuries.
