A home on Froghop Road in Christian County was badly damaged in a fire Saturday afternoon.
Lacy Fire Department Chief Kavin Meacham says the fire was contained to the kitchen and the home owner who is on the fire department was able to extinguish most of the fire with a garden hose before everyone arrived.
The home is located at the 16000 block of Froghop Road.
Lacy Firefighters were assisted by Allegre and Honey Grove fire departments.
