Farm Bureau Day Draws Large Crowd To Western Kentucky State Fair

After fair activities were shut down early Wednesday night due to thunderstorms in the area, Thursday’s Kentucky Farm Bureau Day brought in more than 6,000 people.

Fair Board President Brad Hewell says 6,050 visitors passed through the gates Thursday to push the total fair attendance to 26,153. Thursday fair activities included the Christian County Farm Bureau annual meeting in the convention center, farm stock tractor pulls at the grandstands, and special admission and ride discounts for first responders and the military.

Following pedal tractor pulls at six in front of the convention center, the first of two nights of the Mid-south Truck and Tractor Pulls kickoff at 7:00 at the grandstands. There will also be a corn hole tournament Friday night at 7:00 in the convention center.
