Wednesday will be focused on military and first responders as the Western Kentucky State Fair continues at the fair grounds in Hopkinsville.

Tuesday 2,972 people passed through the gates of the fair for Pennyrile Electric Day. That pushes the fair total attendance this year to just over 17,100. Total attendance numbers are down compared to the 2023 five night total of 24,242.

Fair board President Brad Hewell says there will be special admission to show appreciation for military and first responders on Wednesday.
