A man was charged in connection to an assault and robbery on East 6th Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 22-year-old Deuntra Taylor and a second person assaulted a man by choking him causing possible serious injury while taking his phone and trying to take his necklace.
The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance to due to his injuries
Taylor was later located and charged with first-degree robbery. The second suspect has not been located.
