Suite A in the Trigg County Hospital Medical Arts Building had its full transformation revealed to the public Tuesday morning — a ribbon cutting officially opening a new cardiac clinic for the community.

Its main practitioner, Dr. Sanjay Bose, MD, hails from Baptist Health — and is now part of six such efforts in conjunction with Cadiz, located in Crittenden, Caldwell, Marshall and Livingston counties, as well as Hardin, Illinois.

He called this administration’s effort, under the guidance of President/CEO John Sumner, “remarkable” and “pro-active.”

Alongside Angela Acree, APRN, and Breanna Schuzer, RN, Bose added he was thankful for the area support.

Celebrating more than 70 years in business, Sumner said all thanks needed to go toward the collaboration making the project possible.

Returning to serve her hometown, Acree termed the growth of the hospital “phenomenal,” and reflected a bit on a full-circle moment.

Breanna Schuzer, RN, has already been hard at working booking clients — trying to fill the summer calendar and beyond.

More than 50 citizens were on hand for the celebration, including Judge-Executive Stan Humphries.

Cadiz Mayor Todd King presented the staff with a “Key to the City.”

Located at 250 Main Street, with some implements in the main Trigg County Hospital, prospective and/or current patients can call the office at (270) 522-6574.

Current specialties, with more to come, include diagnosing chest pains, congestive heart failure, shortness of breath, heart arrhythmia, heart disease, high cholesterol and hypertension.
