A traffic stop on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville led to drug charges Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Paul Ashbery for speeding and during the stop, a law enforcement K9 alerted on the vehicle.
After a search fentanyl tablets were reportedly located. He was arrested and charged with speeding, failure to maintain required insurance, and trafficking fentanyl.
