Princeton Man Sentenced in Shots Fired Case

A Princeton man was sentenced to three years in prison during action in Christian County Circuit Court on charges he fired a gun during a fight at a gas station last year.

35-year-old Lametre Riley was arrested by Hopkinsville Police last December after they were called to investigate a report of shots fired in the parking lot of a Glass Avenue gas station.

Police said Riley and another man had gotten into a fight, and Riley fired a shot and hit the other man’s truck.

Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Mark Gilbert said it was fortunate no one was injured.
