Memorial services for 47-year-old Derrick “Sleepy” Johnson, of Hopkinsville, will be 6 PM Thursday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 PM until the service hour.
Survivors include:
His father, Bobby Johnson, of Hopkinsville;
His mother, Sue (Andy) Livingston, of Hopkinsville;
His brothers, Wes (Brittney) Livingston and Anthony (Lela) Livingston, of Hopkinsville;
His sisters, Angie Livingston and Rebecca Livingston, of Clarksville;
And his dog: Sassy.
Johnson died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Hopkinsville.
Brother Buddy Weatherford is officiating.
A native of Christian County, he was born December 5, 1976.
He worked as a truck driver for Double C Trucking and Livingston Livestock, LLC. He attended West Union Baptist Church.
