Eastbound traffic on Kentucky 124/Cerulean Road will face a shoulder closure at the 3.84-mile point over Interstate 24 until further notice.
This follows an incident where concrete fell from the overpass, prompting an inspection by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Inspectors found that a truck had struck the steel beams, and traffic along Kentucky 124 caused concrete pieces to fall. While traffic on Interstate 24 is back to normal, the shoulder of Kentucky 124 will remain closed until repairs are scheduled.
