A wreck on South Road in Trigg County sent a woman to jail and six others to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Gallogly says a car driven by Craig Kelso was northbound on South Road when an SUV driven by Sahara Duckett pulled into the car’s path from Old Canton Pike hitting the car and pushing it into a second SUV driven by Matt Hughes that was at the intersection.

Craig Kelso and his passenger Laura Kelso were taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for injuries along with all four kids in Duckett’s SUV.

Gallogly says Duckett was arrested after her kids were found in her vehicle not properly restrained.

Duckett is charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license, no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, DUI controlled substance, two counts of failure to use a child restraint device in a vehicle, and seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
