A pursuit with a stolen vehicle that started in Hopkins County ended in Crofton Sunday afternoon.
Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to Interstate 69 in Hanson after 40-year-old Emily Dunaway took a Clarksville woman’s car that stopped to help her on the side of the road.
Deputies reportedly located the vehicle on Pennyrile Parkway and Dunaway fled before getting off on exit 30 and traveling into Crofton on US 41 where the pursuit ended just before the intersection of Kentucky 800.
Dunaway was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
