Albert Duane Wilkerson, age 57, of Oak Grove, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Celebration of Life Services will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Ross Peterson and John Gibson officiating with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with military honors. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Duane was born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA on February 26, 1967, the son of Albert Wilkerson, Jr. and Betty (Sisk) Wilkerson. He was a Field Technician for Ricoh USA in Nashville, TN. Duane was of the Christian Faith and a veteran of the US Navy.
In addition to his parents, Albert and Betty Wilkerson of Pembroke, KY; he is survived by his sister Kathy Louise Witzel and her husband Bryan of Greenville, KY; his nieces, Courtney (Larry) Beadnell of Russellville, KY; Valerie (Ben) Hummel of Weston, WI; Karyn Witzel of Bowling Green, KY; Lisa Witzel of Murray, KY; His nephews, Tyler (Ashley) Witzel of Aurora, CO; Kyle Witzel of Greenville, KY; Dylan Witzel of Camp Pendelton, CA; and his one great-nephew and four great-nieces.
Duane was preceded in death by his grandparents Woodrow and Edna Sisk of Pembroke, and Albert and Dicie Wilkerson of Gravel Switch, KY.
