The City of Cadiz will host a dedication to honor the people who are featured in the second round of the Hometown Hero banner campaign.
Trigg County magistrate Mike Wright will lead the dedication which will take place Saturday morning at 10:00 at the Renaissance Stage. During the event, Wright will read off all 119 names of those featured and talk about the sacrifices they have made.
The Hometown Hero banners started showing up in the city within the last four years. Wright said it serves a two-fold purpose to honor those who have served our country and to educate future generations.
Wright mentioned he hopes to see the Hometown Hero banners displayed throughout Trigg County in the future.
