A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after a report of a disturbance on South Kentucky Avenue in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a disturbance and found that 46-year-old Tremayne Welch had tried to push his way into a home while armed with a knife.
He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and first-degree burglary.
