Clyde Harrison, 87, of Hopkinsville

Graveside services for 87-year-old Clyde Harrison, of Hopkinsville, will be 11:30 AM Saturday at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.

Survivors include:
His daughter: Lea Anne Doss and her husband, Wayne Johnson, of Hopkinsville;
His grandchildren: Emily (Wesley) Steltenpohl, Taylor (Joe) Kenney, and Nathan Doss;
And his great grandchildren: Hayden Steltenpohl, Annie Steltenpohl, Arza Kenney, and Luther Kenney.

Rev. Ron Hicks is officiating.

He died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at his residence.

A native of Christian County, he was born January 26, 1937 the son of late George Victor Harrison and Lydia Naomi Goodwin Harrison. He was a graduate of Lacy High School. He was a United States Army veteran. He worked at First City Bank for 17 years. He then went on to retire from Seay Oil Company after 32 years. He was a member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Freeda Taylor Harrison; his brothers: George Harrison and Claude Harrison; and his sisters: Mildred Harrison, Dorothy Harrison, and Barbara Oakes.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Henderson Memorial Baptist Church or Pennyroyal Hospice.
