Linda Lou Bell McGar, 81, of Crofton, KY died Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Crofton Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Hicks and Rev. Billy Crick officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born January 24, 1943, in Gary, IN the daughter of the late Thomas Bernard Bell and Stella Frances Skaggs Bell. Linda was a homemaker and member of the Crofton Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Marion Elgin “Diddy” McGar Jr.
Survivors include her son: Kenneth Scott (Sara) McGar of Crofton, KY; her daughters: Laura (Clifford) Knight of Crofton, KY, Pamela (Robbie) Barnett of Benton, KY, and Jennifer (Chris) Cansler of Crofton, KY; her 14 grandchildren; her 20 great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to Crofton Methodist Church.
