The annual Take Kids Fishing event will celebrate twenty-three years this weekend, with a large number of children participating through the history of the event. Jeffers Bend Environmental Center volunteer David Chiles says they estimate more than 10,000 children and parents have participated throughout the history of Take Kids Fishing.
