A Cadiz teenager was injured in a one-car crash on Kentucky 139 in Caldwell County on Tuesday when she swerved to miss a person at a mailbox.
Caldwell County Deputy Sheriff Stacey Blackburn said 19-year-old Aurora Calhoun attempted to avoid a person at a mailbox and lost control of her car. It left the road and struck an embankment.
Calhoun was transported to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
