Two Women Charged With Shoplifting In Hopkinsville

Two women have been charged with theft and burglary in separate shoplifting investigations in Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Walmart on Clinic Drive Friday morning for 35-year-old Jameshia Johnson who left the store with two bags of merchandise and walked to the gas station at the end of the parking lot.

When Johnson was stopped by police she reportedly refused to comply with their demands. Johnson was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

In a separate arrest, Police say they were called for 35-year-old Nicole Wilson who was shoplifting at Five Below on Fort Campbell Boulevard, she was found in the parking lot and in possession of items also taken from TJ Maxx Saturday afternoon.

Wilson was charged with theft by unlawful taking shoplifting in Hopkinsville and she was found to have three active warrants for theft by unlawful taking shoplifting out of Daviess County.
