Ohio Man Indicted for Murder in Hopkinsville Shooting

An Ohio man charged in a fatal shooting that occurred in February in Hopkinsville was indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday.

A true bill was issued on Kamron Snyder of Lima on a single count of murder.

On February 26, Snyder is accused of firing a shot from a vehicle that hit 27-year old Khailil Buckner in the abdomen. Buckner was reportedly flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where he later died.

According to Hopkinsville Police, Snyder was located in Allen County, Ohio, and taken into custody on a Kentucky warrant for murder. He was extradited to Christian County and remains lodged in the local jail.
