April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Hopkinsville and Christian County officials are recognizing the work of Sanctuary and Pennyrile Children's Advocacy Center.

The proclamation was presented to staff of Sanctuary INC with the help of Mayor for a Day Sydney Ezell. Sanctuary serves the nine counties of the Pennyrile.
