An Oak Grove man was charged after he fled from police on Pembroke Oak Grove Road Monday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Kevin Stokes and he fled turning his hazard lights on before pulling into the Pilot and running on foot into a field.
He was reportedly located by a Christian County deputy in the area of Stableford Lane 3 miles from the original traffic stop.
He was taken into custody on charges of operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to produce an insurance card, failure to notify change of address to the Department of Transportation, and two counts of first-degree fleeing or evading police.
Oak Grove Police were assisted by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and The Hopkinsville Police Department.
