A juvenile was injured and a second was charged after what is believed to be an accidental shooting on Park Avenue in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a juvenile discharged a firearm hitting a second juvenile in the foot inside an apartment complex.
The juvenile was transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
Police say the bullet traveled into a second apartment that was occupied but no one in that apartment was injured.
The juvenile who discharged the gun was arrested and charged with minor in possession of a handgun and three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
