Christian County Public Schools are on target for both construction and payments regarding the new Christian County High School.
Thursday night, Director of Finance Jessica Darnell brought the School Board a $5 million payment, adding it will put them on track to meet bond requirements.

click to download audioMeanwhile, the School Board voted to purchase a 52-passenger special needs bus at an $18,000 savings. The International Bus was ordered by another district but is not as large as they anticipated. Transportation Director Mike Brumley says they were going to ask for a similar bus in June as part of the fleet rotation.
