A Hopkinsville man was charged with more counts of possession of child pornography Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were alerted that an account on Kik owned by 35-year-old Jerry Meadows Jr. had uploaded videos and photos of child sexual abuse and he was arrested in connection to that investigation on March 14th.
After he was arrested his cell phone was reportedly searched and more videos of child sexual abuse betraying children under the age of 12 were found.
He is now also charged with five counts of possession of a matter of a sexual performance by a minor and six counts of possession of a matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Meadows was previously charged with distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and three counts of possession of matter of sexual performance by a minor.
