Man Charged With Leading Law Enforcement On A High-speed Pursuit

A Cadiz man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit that ended in Christian County Sunday morning.

Cadiz Police say they were called to Linda Lane for 29-year-old James Bacon Jr. who was trying to get into a home and he fled on foot getting into a vehicle in the Food Giant parking lot.

He then reportedly fled in the vehicle at speeds of around 100 mph crossing into Christian County where he got out of the vehicle at Railroad Lane and Main Street in Gracey and attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended after being tased.

Bacon is lodged in the Christian County Jail on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, and two counts of first-degree fleeing or evading police.
