A Hopkinsville man was charged with kidnapping a woman on North Main Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 47-year-old William Spain pulled a woman into his room at Little River Motel duct taped her mouth, feet, and arms and held her against her will for 12 hours.
He reportedly let her go the next day and Spain was arrested and charged with kidnapping.
