There will be no services for 83-year-old Claire McAleer, of Pembroke.
Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
Her son, Ted(Maria Jose’) McAleer, of Seville, Spain;
Three daughters, Dawn (Joe) Stealy, of Statesboro, Georgia, MaryClaire Mullins, of Pembroke, and Kate McAleer, of Pembroke;
One brother, George Olson, of Chicago;
One sister, MaryEllen Hansburg, of Chicago;
Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She died at 11:21 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Homewood, Illinois, she was born May 30, 1940, the daughter of late Everett Olson and Lila Richardson Olson.
In her professional life, she was employed as a social worker. She married Thomas McAleer and they raised four children.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas McAleer.
Memorial contributions in Bonnie’s honor are suggested to Max’s Hope Pet Rescue.
