Hopkinsville Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Possession Charges

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Thursday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 52-year-old Harold Hilliard for having a headlight out and found he had an active warrant for non-payment of court costs.

After being arrested he was reportedly found to have 9 Hydrocodone pills wrapped in toilet paper in his pocket.

He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance  (drug unspecified), one headlight, and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.
