A small fire inside a home on Lindsey Drive in Hopkinsville was quickly extinguished Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville firefighters say they were called for smoke in the second story of the home and found a space heater and an extension cord that had caused a small fire leading to the home filling with smoke.
No one was injured and after the smoke was cleared out of the home the owner was able to continue staying in the home.
