Trial Date Set in Oak Grove Murder Case

Two Clarksville men charged with a 2022 murder in Oak Grove saw an August trial date set Wednesday afternoon in Christian County Circuit Court.

Judge Andrew Self set aside August 12 as the trial date for Tyron Holt and Omega Plaisme with Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy estimating a 2-3 day trial length.

Plaisme is charged with murder, while Holt is charged with complicity in the death of Gailon Toler who police said was shot multiple times outside of his Tyler Street mobile home.

James Greene, the attorney for Plaisme, said mediation was agreeable between his client and the Commonwealth to settle the charges, with Judge Self explaining the necessity of setting a trial date.
