Cerulean Man Indicted on Rape and Assault Charges

A Cerulean man was indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday on several charges,  including rape.

Alijajuan  Williams was indicted on charges of rape, unlawful imprisonment, terroristic threatening, fourth-degree assault, two counts of burglary, and three counts of strangulation.

Hopkinsville Police arrested Williams on a warrant after he allegedly assaulted and injured a woman on December 7. He’s also accused of having sexual intercourse with the woman through the use  of force.

On December 23 and December 24, Williams is accused of assaulting the same woman by striking and biting her, causing physical injury. Police said Williams also choked the woman and unlawfully entered her residence twice.
