A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI after a traffic stop on Hopkinsville Road in Trigg County Sunday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 25-year-old Samuel Yates in connection to an investigation into a possible kidnapping and sexual assault and he told law enforcement he had been consuming alcohol and had cocaine on him.
He was arrested and charged with DUI and possession of cocaine. Authorities are still investigating the report of kidnapping and sexual assault.
