Leslie Wayne Walters, age 80, of Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Walters was born in Evansville, IN, on January 12, 1944, the son of the late Lester Frank Walters and Mavis Bessie Lowe. Leslie was a self-employed mechanic. He was of the Christian Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Walters; his daughter, Kelly Hudson; his brothers, Frank Walters and Orville Walters; and his grandson, Michael Walters.
Survivors include his son, Corry Walters of Milford, TX; and his brother Forrest Walters of Conroe, TX.
