Kentucky Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman is leading Saturday’s effort for the ‘Shop & Share’ campaign to support the state’s 15 domestic violence shelters, including Sanctuary, Inc. of Hopkinsville.
Sanctuary’s communications and community engagement coordinator Zirconia Vansauwa said they will be collecting much-needed items at the Kroger stores in Hopkinsville, Madisonville, and Powderly.
She added there is a dire need for those specific items – monetary donations will also be accepted.
Donations for Sanctuary, Inc. will be accepted Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Vansauwa said the shelter currently has a high population.
