Funeral services for 72-year-old Ronald “Ronnie” L. Martin, of Cadiz, will be 1 PM Friday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Special friend of 33 years, Della England, of Cadiz;
Son, Charles Bond, of Cadiz;
His daughters, Judy Smith (Claude Baxer), of Cadiz, Rebecca Porter (Jason), of Cadiz;
His brother, Jimmy Martin (Elaine), of Hopkinsville;
Several nieces and nephews;
Seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He died of natural causes Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
He was born July 24, 1951, in Christian County, the son of the late Louise Martin and Neva Jean West Martin White.
He was a truck driver for more than 40 years, driving for Rajor Trucking and All State Freight. He was a board member of the Linton Voluntary Fire Department and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ronald Smith; and his grandson, BJ Fancher.
