Six recruits have completed the first week of the Hopkinsville Fire Department’s training academy.
The department completed its hiring process earlier this month with six recruits progressing through to the academy.
Captain Payton Rogers said the physical training is completed in-house by instructors Lt. Curtis Sauers, Bobby Hogge, and Kris Perry.
