Benton Man Charged In Hit-and-Run Death Of Christian County Man

Charges have been filed against a Benton man accused of striking and killing a Christian County man with his vehicle earlier this month.

According to The Lake News, 66-year-old Anthony Earl Farmer is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid connected to a death or serious injury by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. Farmer is alleged to have struck and killed, 30-year-old DaQuan Harris of Oak Grove, at approximately 11:00 PM on January 13 on Kentucky Dam Road near its intersection with Kenmar Road.

Farmer is lodged in the McCracken County Jail under a $50,000 bond. His next appearance in court will be Tuesday morning, February 6, at 9:00.
