An Eddyville woman was named first runner-up at the Miss Kentucky County Fair Pageant for the second straight year.

Hooks, the daughter of Chris and Angie Hooks, was representing the Scott County Fair, where she was crowned the pageant queen last summer. Hooks was also the 2022 Miss Western Kentucky State Fair queen.

Karlie Holmen of Gilbertsville represented the Western Kentucky State Fair at this year’s pageant.

Carmon Todd of Madisonville, who was representing the Whitley County Fair as its queen, was named Miss Congeniality as she was for last year’s Miss Western Kentucky State Fair pageant.
