A home on East 17th Street in Hopkinsville was destroyed in a fire Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville firefighters say they were called just after 9 p.m. for smoke coming from the home and when they arrived the front of the home was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was mostly contained to the front room and the front of the structure.
Firefighters say no one was found inside the home and it appeared that the home had construction supplies inside.
The home is located at 225 East 17th Street.
